Nash Bridges is a high-action drama about a San Francisco police investigator who deserves his reputation as a topnotch cop, but who's not always so successful when it comes to his personal
life.
As a member of the elite Special Investigators Unit, Nash (Don Johnson) relies on his streetwise instincts, keen sense of humor and charm to work his magic on the streets of San Francisco. At his side is his wisecracking partner, Joe Dominguez (Cheech Marin), who is preoccupied with balancing his partnership with Nash and his life as a husband and father, while still finding time for the latest get-rich-quick scheme.
Rounding out the team is fellow detective Harvey Leek (Jeff Perry). Away from the force, Nash concedes that he's still trying to find a way to juggle the responsibilities of a teenage daughter, Cassidy (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), and an irascible father, Nick (James Gammon), who is now his roommate.
